Artist Statement
Most of my artwork is based around subjects that I find interesting, like humanity being in everyone, the everlasting possibility of utopia, humor, esoteric and wild settings, and avian. A lot of my work is specialized in these areas. My most recent project ‘Abawkcalypse’ (A-Bawk-call-ipse), has these elements.
My goal with Abawkcalypse was to create a playable animation, following the footsteps of Don Bluth’s Dragon’s Lair. And much like Dragon’s Lair, Abawkcalypse is full motion animation, and is fast paced, with the story taking a back seat to the action. It is complete and fully watchable in Vimeo; however, a playable version can be found in the Vimeo description.
