Artist Statement
Loud, obnoxious, and heavy. These are the terms I think about while creating my artwork. Conceptually, I am interested in studying subcultures and what their role in society may be. I use my art as a tool to further investigate these roles subcultures have and how they pertain to real life situations. My focus is on influences pertaining to goth culture throughout the generations, and elements of witchcraft. I add my own twist and humor to create pieces that possess the quality of the norms of society and highlight the beauty of the weird.
