I give viewers a sense of optimism and show them what fantastical things can be imagined and brought to life through art. I often find myself mentally creating scenarios for characters as if they are in a movie or video, and it helps me develop projects and stories. I free viewers’ minds from the harsh reality of the world and show them that, even as an adult, their imagination never has to die. I also communicate feelings and struggles people face in the real world, yet, using fictional figures, I give readers a sense of hope— the characters always make it through in the end, so we can find a way, too. I enjoy giving people direction on how conflicts can be solved or simply inspire while entertaining through the characters’ antics. I aid in increasing the amount of joy, reflection, thoughtfulness, and other aspects of life that people in our society often seem to lack a sincere understanding of.
