Artist Statement

Anything from bizarre to fantastical, I love to create worlds that don’t exist or enhance the magical feeling of this world. The process of creating a new reality from nothing is a form of escapism for me, as I wish it can be for the viewer. My goal is to make people wonder and imagine as I transport people into the environments I create. I am such a daydreamer, and escaping is really important to me. Something we all had as kids was the imagination to play pretend and transport ourselves anywhere. That part of me never really went away, it’s just transformed. Instead of playing pretend I now create the worlds I have in my head in my art.
