Biography

Storytelling in art has always been my priority in my lifetime of producing content. I’ve found that my favorite way to consume storytelling is through video games. I feel like it combines the best of books and movies with the addition of direct user interaction. It was only within my time at university that I connected my passion of creating with my love of video games. With that, I’ve been slowly building the world of “Chomp” over this time to finally make this piece. This collage of pixel images represents the world, characters, and condensed story of Chomp’s story. Using a game building program, GameMaker Studio 2, I’ve been able to give my characters a body and a mind through pixels and code. By doing this, I can now share their world with anyone willing to interact with “Chomp”, so the player can experience the world I’ve built. Now, you can enjoy the story I’ve been wanting to tell.
